In my GEM Capstone class, we were given the challenging but very productive task of preparing a PechaKucha presentation to share our own stories, background, and Global Engagement journey with the larger GEM community. The idea of a PechaKucha is to force an engaging and constantly moving story through a slideshow of 20 pictures that automatically move to the next picture after 20 seconds. The presenter has to narrate the whole presentation. I didn’t write a script, but I have added the presentation slides at the bottom. I’m curious as to how these may be interpreted separate from any context within this post. Perhaps for anyone looking through this e-portfolio, there may be something gained from looking through the rest of the website and coming back to this post, as I think a lot of what I placed in the presentation can be interpreted by much of what surrounds it in the portfolio as a whole.
